White Crater at Mount Patuha

White crater is located in Mount Patuha, Ciwidey, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. With the height of this mountain is 2386 meters and a temperature of about 8-22 degrees Centigrade. The crater of Mount Patuha is used as an attractive tourist object with a crater of White. On the way to the crater, we will pass the interesting objects such as old railroad tracks, yellowing rice fields, gardens and extensive green tea and pine forest. Location to craters and white can be reached through travel as far as 46 km or 2.5 hours south of Bandung. From the entrance, there were still about 5km to go. Throughout the trip we could see tropical rain forests and eucalyptus. White soil which consists of sulfur is the reason why the crater is called the White Crater. Uneven ground surface as well so as to resemble the mounds the ground. Craters greenish water also attracts attention. Water color can vary depending on the sunlight. Some species of flora including Cantigi, Lemo (supposedly smells like mace oil and can be used to drive the snake), Vaccinium (plants that live in the area of a typical crater), and Eidelweis that grow on the mountaintop. While these types of fauna that often arise include eagles, monkeys, mouse deer, wild boar, panther and leopard.
