Smokers tend to be leaner than nonsmokers. Many people do not want to stop smoking for fear of fat. Really? The study, led by Yale University, the United States have discovered how nicotine activates certain neurons in the brain called the hypothalamus. This nervous system that acts as an appetite suppressant in the brain.
"These neurons tell the body when the stomach is quite full," says Marina Picciotto, author of the study is Professor of Neurobiology and Pharmacology at Yale University, as quoted from Health24.
"Many people say they will not stop smoking for fear of weight gain. Basically, we want to help people maintain weight loss by removing smoking and help non-smokers who are struggling with obesity," he explained.

She said I used to be at risk for cancer and diabetes as a result of secondhand smoke. She said to find another job, but I didn't listen. After a period of more than twenty years, eighteen nurses wound up diabetic for being passive smokers. That does not seem fair. How is it that a person pay the bill for another person?
