Father’s day is always a time of the year when I have no idea what to get my father as a gift.  I mean, how many ties can one guy own? My father is a very difficult person to shop for because he buys things as he needs them and doesn’t share much information about what he would like. In fact, most of the things that I think he might enjoy owning, he already owns. So I have the task of deciding on a gift that he will like because the last thing that I want to do is buy him something that he will never use or wear. Or buy him something that he has to return. I started thinking about some of his hobbies and the activities that he likes to do and what things that were associated with that activity that he did not have. He likes golfing, so a golf digest magazine subscription might be just what I was looking for. He also likes hunting and fishing, they have magazines for that. I realized that this was such a great idea that not a lot of people thought of giving as a gift, so I now give magazine subscriptions to all my friends and family. I have even found several discount magazines that allowed me to save a considerable amount of money in the process. The great thing about giving a magazine subscription is that they come at least once a month. I had somehow stumbled upon the best gift that keeps on giving, and my gift is also renewable, so I don’t have to think about what to get anymore. Enjoy..
